M G   C a r   C l u b   A n t w e r p :   The First Outing 2002

Okay, it took me a long, long, long time to join an MG Club, but today we finally became a member of MGCCA (MG Car Club Antwerp). Even more, we joined them on their first event of the year, the traditional 'First Outing'. Off course I shooted some pictures and publish them here on my site (note the resolutions).

We had a nice breakfast at the Yacht Club Temse at the Wirlfordkaai, wel actually I was taking pictures outside.

First Question: who's looking at us while we are parking here ?
well, one of the three statues is actually looking at the parking space. (512 x 384 pixels)

Waiting for Ben, expressions of the drivers and co-drivers are speaking for themselves . . . Passing the time with shooting some pics. (1024 x 768 pixels, except the last one: 917 x 203 pixels)

Second Question: For whom is Saint Barbara praying ?
Well what else could she do, she is praying for us.... (2: 512 x 384 pixels, 1: 1024 x 768 pixels)

Third Question: How many victims from this neighborhood are offered in the camps during WWII ?
17 unfortunatly. (1: 512 x 348 pixels, 2: 1024 x 768 pixels)

Fourth Question: Which restaurant, well known from a Belgian television series are we passing ?
The Lork.... sorry I've got no picture of this one.

Fifth Question: What has been imaged overhere ?
I am sorry no picture and no solution for this one, 'cause we had a fault answer. (512 x 348 pixels and 1024 x 768 pixels)

Sixth Question: Which famous cycling event passed here last summer ?
The Tour de France, ... Yes I know, it's the tour de FRANCE.... why is it crossing Belgium ?

Seventh Question: How many Interim Offices are here located ?
Bit difficult... we counted eight, but the last two ones are more situated on the next drawing of the map, not really on the drawing where the question was popped.... The correct answer was eight.

Eigth Question: How are the citizens of Kruibeke called ?
Kindly people.... another thing we hadn't got ;-(   (1024 x 768 pixels)

We arrived at the Casttle of Wissekerke... a very nice location !!
